I think this book explains the fundamentals of colloid/surface chemistry very well. It gives some detailed examples, that if followed, provides the reader the concepts and insights that may be difficult to understand. As a teacher of these topics I found this book an excellent on. very good coverage of fundamentals such as surface and interfacial tension,intermolecular and colloidal interactions, colloidal stability, liophobic and liophylic colloids,electrokinetics phenomena. All these complex topics and more are treated in a very clear and rigorous way.
