Mohamed E. El-Hawary. this book is a complete disaster. As its mysterious title indicates, the book is very vague and does not explain any of the proposed matters.
Mohamed E. It seems like the author gathers information from here and there and throws it at you in an attempt to make up the chapters. To make the matters worse, the quality of the print and paper is almost as bad as the author's work. Although this book would make a great door stop, it's still a waste of a good tree. Electrical Energy Systems fills that need, providing an up-to-date introduction to this dynamic field. Mohamed E. Taylor & Francis, 18 Nis 2000 - 384 sayfa. The author begins with a discussion of the modern electric power system, centering on the technical aspects of power generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization. After providing an overview of electric power and machine theory fundamentals, he offers a practical treatment-focused on applications-of the major topics required for a solid background in the field, including synchronous machines, transformers, and electric motors.

The book's audience consists mainly of post-secondary electrical engineering students as well as practicing engineers . The text treats first models of the major components of modern day electric power systems.
The book's audience consists mainly of post-secondary electrical engineering students as well as practicing engineers interested in learning the fundamental concepts of power systems analysis and related designs. Background requirements include a basic electric circuit course and some mathematical notions from algebra and calculus. Thus, chapters three through five provide detailed discussions of synchronous machines, transmission lines, transformers and the induction motor which is a major system load component.
