Other readers will always be interested in your opinion of the books you've read. Whether you've loved the book or not, if you give your honest and detailed thoughts then people will find new books that are right for them. 1. Analog Circuits and Devices. Daly (Author), Denis P. Galipeau (Author). What I found unique about this book are really the last two chapters about the common pitfalls in analog IC design and some root causes for failure of ICs. ISBN-13: 978-0122277566. As a practising engineer, I had a hard time finding a book that discusses these things, which makes it easier for me to narrow down some of the possible causes when there is a flow in an IC design. Also, it includes an analysis of ESD circuits which I think is uncommon in most general analog IC books.

James C. Integrated circuits (ICs) don't always work the first time. Many things can and do go wrong in analog circuit designs. With its complete coverage of basic circuit building blocks, full details of common design pitfalls, and a compendium of design and layout problems and solutions, Analog BiCMOS Design is the perfect reference for IC designers and engineers, fledgling and experienced alike. Read it to reinforce your background, browse it for ideas on avoiding pitfalls, and when you run into a problem, use it to find a solution.

BiCMOS DESIGN Practices and Pitfalls James C. Daly Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering University of Rhode Island. Galipeau Cherry Semiconductor Corp. Foreword This book presents practical methods and pitfalls encountered in the design of biCMOS integrated circuits. A broad range of topics are covered with the intent of giving new designers the tools to complete a design project.
By James C. Analog BiCMOS Design offers IC design engineers the learning equivalent to decades of practical experience. Culled from the careers of practicing engineers, it presents the most effective methods and the pitfalls most frequently encountered in the design of biCMOS integrated circuits.
