Distinguished scholars clearly describe established and emerging methodologies, discuss the types of questions and claims for which each is best suited, identify standards of quality, and present exemplary studies that illustrate the approaches at their best. Duke, Marla H. Mallette. Guilford Press, 17 Haz 2011 - 488 sayfa. Distinguished scholars clearly describe established and emerging methodologies, discuss the types of questions and claims for which each is best suited, identify standards of quality, and present exemplary studies that illustrate the approaches at their best. kind of collection of anything and everything on research- but definitely you will need extra resources if you are not really familiar with any of the designs

Each chapter in this book is well written and easy to understand. The definitions and examples for each research methodology are thorough, yet practical. It is a great reference tool for researchers.

This book is good for practicing the skill of critiquing methodologies. So much is left out of the book I'm not sure how useful it is to anyone who has even a basic understanding of research methodologies and methods.

I was required to read this for a graduate course. I have no prior knowledge of research methodologies and I found many explanations and exemplars in this book to be confusing for a beginner.

This book has been updated and offers good insights into research with ample examples from the reading world. A good start
This guide provides clear, useful definitions and examples, as well as a wealth of exemplar resources. This is a book to return to again and again when designing studies.
