The information in this book was quite bland. I had to do alot of research online to get an indepth view of what the purposes, characteristics and area of emphasis each law or Act pertained to and affected,(ie; Safe Drinking Water Act, Resource Conservation Recovery Act, ect). My instructor had much more information on the slides then this book could ever prove worthy. It doesn't discuss all Acts or regulations, but does provide a list of them. This book focused on the most common ones such as, NEPA, FIFRA, RCRA, P2, SDWA, CWA, and CAA to cover a few. I would've been happier if each one had information about them. The titles do give a general idea of what it supports.

My advise is to check out the EPA, DOT, and OSHA sites online; especially EPA. Also, research various case studies on violations. It may help you have a better understanding of these laws / acts that people or businesses violate.

I placed my order in January. After of couple of weeks of not receiving my order I sent an email stating I didn't receive my order and I was advised Amazon would look into it. After receiving that email I didn't get any response back again. I still haven't received my book and I haven't received a refund either. I will not be ordering from Amazon again. This is my first experience ordering online and I am not satisified.
