For every new clinician, the prevention of boundary violations ought to be one of a clinical supervisor's most fundamental teachings. This book offers clinical examples a variety of boundary violations as well as how to cope with them clinically. There are good clinical practice guidelines offered by a vaiety of clinicians/authors. Graduate students and new clinicians will benefit from this book to help fortify one of the most important clinical skills - boundaries with clients/patients.

Excellent. Many cases/examples given. Much to ponder and put into practice in these "crazy" times we live in.

The book gives such great examples that one realizes the slippery slope that boundaries can be.
It helps you realize what you're getting into, so you do not make mistakes that might hurt you or
your patients.

This is the best book I have read on boundary issues for clinicians. It is comprehensive yet practical, scholarly yet packed with case studies and examples. This sets the tone now for books on ethical and legal concerns for all clinicians. A must read!
