Like another reviewer, I was surprised to see that this book was still available. It is just as I remembered - I had a paperback copy and lent it to 2 people, each kept it for years and when I finally got it back, the pages were all yellow and brittle. The book arrived in a few days, the shipping was very reasonable, and it was in mint condition as described on Amazon.

I own this book and was surprised to find it on here since it's been out for so long. My daughter read a few of the stories yesterday when searching for something new to read for home-school. There are so many wonderful stories of courageous animals in this book. This is a must-read for anyone who loves animals and believe that they have feelings and will give up their lives to save their owners. You might need a Kleenex though.
