First off, I ordered this book, and it took 4
business days to get to me, and that included the
Easter Holiday, which was impressive.
The guide is very expansive, as it has 1,300 drink
recipes, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
It shows you how to set up both a small, and complete
bar.
It has a breakdown of the terms, that are used in the recipes.
The recipes are easy to find, and understand, to include a
glass type guide.
I looked up a few, very hard to find recipes, and was glad to see them
in the guide.
It is a excellent addition for a seasoned bartender, and a must have for
a newbie, or home drink mixer.

Years ago I received this little tome as a Birthday Gift,

I have since been drinking my way through it from "A" to "Z." Bartenders are largely cooperative with this scientific project, indeed sometimes very enthusiastic about the whole idea of trying 'new,' or perhaps 'old,' at least 'different from the usual' drinks.

The book is an excellent window onto the drinks from an earlier, more elegant period.

Well worth the nominal price now charged for the book

Some of the cocktail recipes are inaccurate; the actual dimensions of the books are very odd, it's like a normal novel, but sliced in half? The layout of the book is odd as well; that makes it hard for me to read. Learned some cool cocktails from it though, and that's all I really wanted.

This is a great book full of recipes for drinks. Also has guidance for setting up home bars, for the amateur bar tender or anyone who would like to mix drinks from the comfort of home.

This is a good guide for my home bar. It has many of the mixed recipes that I like and is very easy to maneuver through.
Has many different types of beverages explained in a efficient manner and allows one to consider a fine culinary practice.
