Mega Man Megamix, Volume 2 book. This volume contained everything from straight up stories to Hitoshi Ariga "interviewing Mega Man" characters, to the final section of the book. In the final section, it is a series of comics that contains in-jokes about the franchise told in the context of Mega Man Soccer. Now, I am not a big sports guy by any means and that spread to my gaming as well.

This item:Mega Man Gigamix Volume 2 by Hitoshi Ariga Paperback . Unlike the Megamix books and Gigamix 1, this book is one long continuous story

Gigamix Vol 1 and Vol 2 find Ariga at his highest level in both drawing and storytelling. The earth is at stake and I found that I could barely put this one down. The Stardroids are essentially invincible and make quick work of all the Doctor Light AND Wily robots. Unlike the Megamix books and Gigamix 1, this book is one long continuous story. It is set shortly after the events of the first story in Gigamix 1. It's not clear whether the events of the second story happened or not, or when. The first section of GM2 roughly follows the plot from MM8.

I've never read manga before in my life, but I started reading this and the Gigamix series because I'm a big fan of Megaman. I must say, I am hooked! It's entertaining, funny, and it's a joy to see the Blue Bomber in an action-packed story such as this.

In this volume, there are three main stories. The first one centers around the story of Megaman 4, mainly dealing with the character Skull Man. The other two mainly deal with Bass, who turns out to be Megaman's most challenging enemy. The stories give a lot of depth to the characters of the Megaman franchise and allows an interesting look into why they act the way they do (the creator of the manga series shares his thoughts on this in the beginning notes of the book). The end of the volume has bonus content: humorous Megaman comic strips and an interview with Keiji Inafune, the creator of Megaman.

I'm so glad that Udon has been transcribing a lot of their Megaman stuff for the Western world. They have more stuff coming on the way, and I'm looking forward to checking it out! As one other reviewer already mentioned, I would also love to see a translated release of the Megaman X manga series also.

In short, this manga is great! I highly recommend it for Megaman fans. It has a substantial read in the main storyline and the bonus content at the end gives you even more for your money. Well worth checking out!

so freaking bad ass. all the characters in megaman are freaking sweet in design. Wish Skull Man was designed differently, but aw well.

So thrilled to have found #3 in the series, had 1 and 3 and couldn't find 2 for a long time, thrilled to have it now!

I bought this to foster reading skills in my 7 yo boy. I gave the book to him for a Christmas present. He was absorbed into the world of the Megaman for at least a week. I think the book is a translation of the Japanese Manga version because the book reads from back to front. The book is in B&W.

This is a collection of more stand alone stories taking place around Megaman 4 and 5, with an early appearance by Megaman's rival Bass. The most touching is the return of Skull Man, which may well have you a bit misty eyed.

If you enjoy Mega Man, you'll enjoy this. I personally have waited many years for an English translation of these mangas and I am pleased with the results. The characters are given a greater depth than the games allowed for, the art is very well done, and you are treated to a look into the lives of the robots and humans in Mega Man's world. It really brings the games to life!

The first in this one was very sad. I never cry when reading comics, but this one actually gave me tears in my eyes. And the story after made me laugh. That's also something I like - it's not all sad, but the maker of this book has made some funny things too, that gives laughter and joy. I recommend this book, along with all the others.
The seller SuperBookDeals did a great just getting these to me in good condition.
I'm very satisfied! Megaman fans should buy this right away, because it has good content, amazing stories that have even more drama and comedy than Vol 1 did!
Overall, WORTH IT!!
