Hendrikus Berkhof (11 June 1914, Appeltern, Gelderland – 17 December 1995, Leiderdorp) was a professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Leiden. It is a part of the municipality of West Maas en Waal, and lies about 9 km northeast of Oss. Gelderland is a province of the Netherlands, located in the central eastern part of the country.
