Another interesting book about the kids from Our Gang/Little Rascals. Like the book about Buckwheat... this, too, is told by the son of the actor with insight that only a family member would have.
A really good read.

Finding Waldo
“A brief review of the journey of Waldos life”

This book tells a remarkable story about a young man that later became a soldier for Christ Jesus. At an early age, Waldo became a young child actor who then became one of the famous “Little Rascals”. His Grandfather had prophesied to him at such a young age that God had a plan for him. At a young age he began a career in show business in Hollywood California where he was very much supported by his parents. During filming of the Little Rascals, Waldo befriended a young man named Carmelo. Carmelo’s and his mother would take Waldo to a local church on the weekends. Him and the cast of the Little Rascals would do benefits for orphanages and other people. The cast continued to film and shortly there after he left the cast and went on to do other short films/television appearances with several famous actors. Waldo, was very close to his family. One day his grandmother passed away and instead of his family attending the funeral, his grandfather came and stayed with him for a few weeks. During this time, his grandfather took him to a Seven Day Adventist Church located in Van Nuys California. The service was about heaven and the resurrection. His Grandfather went back home and Waldo went back into filming. In high school Waldo met another friend named Tony who took him to the same church his grandfather use to take him. While attending a tent service, there was a special speaker who spoke about Daniels prophecy’s, the coming of the Lord and Calvary, it was at this specific moment that Waldo began to follow Christ. He knew that he had to follow Christ and the he knew that the Hollywood scene was evil with drugs, sex and so forth. After High school, Waldo joined the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He found a christian home and attended church where the sermons were in english. After living in Korea he returned back to the United States and attend La Sierra College where Waldo met his wife. During a service they made a request for missionaries to go to Thailand. Waldo, his wife and their son David moved to Thailand where he preached the gospel and baptized people for seventeen years. They returned to the states and in the later years a horrific accident occurred when David’s father Waldo was struck by a hit and run driver, Waldo passed away.
Waldo, never resisted the calling to do Gods work even through the evil pathway of the Hollywood scene. He was so blessed with Gods calling, his work as a missionary, and his wife and four sons. On the other hand, some of the other cast members from the Little Rascals did not have such a fulfilling life, they had a short career. So Waldos grandfathers prophecy came true. This book not only described Waldos life in show business but , it’s a testimony, how God from the start, has a plan for you and I, just as He had for Waldo.
