I liked the stories of the bible that he told about praying, having faith, hope. The author always has my attention when reading his books. He lets you know what you need to do these trying times to reach heaven such as accepting Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and being baptized.

As usual, Max Lucado delivers exactly what you need, when you need it. Max puts life's problems and situations out there - acknowledging them - but reminds us "SO WHAT"?! No matter what we are going through, God is still on the throne...He is still in control. God can make rainbows out of rainstorms, leaders out of losers, and bring success from shame. All it takes is a little bit of faith, and a whole lot of prayer. Don't be conformed to the things your eyes see and what your brain interprets. But be ye transformed by the renewing of your minds. God's thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are not our ways. This book reminds us of these things as we are going through. Joy cometh in the morning.
Max Lucado has been one of my favorite christian inspirational writers, I like the way he incorporates daily life activities and real life scenarios with biblical truths and insights. This book highlights struggles of people considered as pillars of the bible such as King David, Job, Peter the apostle and Saint Paul just to name a few, they have victoriously overcome life's troubles and daily temptations of sin that have made them great men of God. This book gives you hope and strength to be a winner in life and to have joy, peace and love in your heart.

It Contains 7 chapters that will inspire, guide and help you become what God intended you to be......a winner in life.
