After reading the first book, "A Message from God", I knew I needed more of this. I just finished "Heaven & Hell" and it was even more 'explosive' than the first. I am waiting eagerly for the next book to arrive.

Reading 10 or more books in 30 days is a challenge because my regular pace is far, far slower than that. Heaven & Hell: From God a Message of Faith: A Young Boy’s Experience of Heaven and Hell (Retha & Aldo McPherson). When most people think of reading a lot of books, that might be 12 books a year! I know someone who endeavors to read a book a week, and that’s still a very high pace. So far in 2018 I’ve read 30 books, which in my history of tracking what I read (since 2011) is the most books I’ve ever read in a year, and 2018 is on track to keep climbing higher.

When Aldo McPherson was 12-years old, a car accident left him in a coma. Heaven & Hell: From God a Message of Faith: A Young Boy's Experience of Heaven and Hell. While in the coma, he had a supernatural experience where he went to heaven, saw God, the angels, Moses, and Abraham.

She goes on to say, “That time is now here. He recently told me Jesus said to him, ‘Aldo, tell My bride – BE PREPARED, I am coming soon.’” Aldo’s letters will open your eyes to the reality of heaven and hell and the implications of your choices here on earth. The book explains that the road of dying to self and living in Christ is what purifies the bride, and this can only be done if you walk by faith and not by sight – believing that God is who He says He is.

I found this book when my husband was in the hospital for the last time before he passed away. I asked God to give me something to read and he showed me this book. The words jumped off the page at me for where I was and what I was going through! I believe what the McPhersons went through was the truth and God grace and his unending love surrounded them like He did for me! The book spoke volumes to my life, I am ever grateful to my Lord for bringing it to me as I went through such sorrow and grief. God must come first! I believe ! ????

The book may not be what you are expecting. It is definitely an amazing story, but if you were expecting a book about heaven and hell, this is not it. There are some good biblical life principles to learn. There are value in these lessons. You will be disappointed, however, if you we're wanting details about the afterlife.

As I began to read I had an overwhelming anointing cover me...I knew immediately GOD was ministering through this beautiful family. Get alone with GOD put your phone on silent because GOD is about to show you what He really wants from us. The Holy Spirit will draw you into a deeper understanding of your true Spirit....He will expose and show you if you truly are a Christian inside and not just on the outside.
This book truly humbled me AND touched me in a way only GOD would be able to do, I could not put it down.
Thank you Retha and Aldo for not giving up you have opened and confirmed God's Word for many.
GOD BLESS BOTH YOUR MINISTRIES.

This book was disjointed and hard to follow. God's word of course, is always welcome, but the actual story about her son's accident and recovery was, for me, disjointed. I was expecting something inspirational and this didn't fill that bill.

I love the premise of this book because it is built around the Word of God. If there is no scripture to back up what you are saying, then it just becomes words to me. This author uses many scriptures to back up what she is saying, and I applaud her for it. Even with all the scars and the closed eyelid, Aldo is a fine looking young man who shouldn't have any problems finding his bride.????. I would like to encourage this beautiful family to keep up the good work and the fight.

I really enjoyed the story of Retha and her son Aldo, and how the car accident changed their lives. Aldo's journey from near death to recovery is very inspiring, and Aldo's faith in God through it is very pointed and deep, and unequivocal. Retha writes her story very honestly and outlines her struggles with Aldo in frank terms. Retha shares a very biblical way of living the Christian life, with a whole heart, and without compromise. I recommend this book, it is very good.

I enjoyed reading this as I am always interested in ways God communicates with children. Aldo seems to have had a unique experience with God. It tells of the family being in an automobile accident and Aldo was critically injured with swelling of his brain. While he lay in a coma he visited God and God told him many things to tell his mother to tell people. That is why they wrote this book. Retha, Aldos mother thought she was living a good Christian life until Aldo told her the things God told her. She then realized she needed to die out to self to be right with God.
What a testimony this family is writing to God's Glory and Love! What blessings God has poured out on this young man and his sibling and parents, and how it makes me want to feel the same love! I know God loves me because He chastened whom He loveth, and I've been much chastened in my lifetime. I know I have much to do yet and this writing has inspired me to go and do it.
