What an awesome book! I ordered two copies and wished I had ordered about 6 more. I've shared my copies with two friends so far. One is going through chemo for the second time and said that this message was exactly what she needed to be reminded of during this time. Another friend is a godly woman and said she, too, needed to be reminded of the message of "first things first". I would highly recommend this book for those women who find that life sometimes gets in the way of what should be our first priority.

I could definitely relate to Kimberly, the author of this book. Women are faced with so many choices, and guilt or remorse regardless of which way they turn. (Why is it that dads can have careers and families without a second thought, but moms cannot?) This book reminds us to put our relationship with Christ first, not our kids, husbands, careers, or anything else. If we put Christ first, then everything else will fall into place.

It is a wake up call to women who are wearing various hats, but are neglecting the one role that is important--fellowship with God. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a comfort for me during a very stressful time. If you are a woman being pulled in every direction, trying to please everyone, you should buy this book. It will help you reflect on what is truly important, without neglecting who you really are.

This book gets right to the point, that being a christian woman is a choice we make and a struggle every day. It points out that the world around us does not flow with christian values. This book teaches women how to keep the spirit of God alive in everyday living. A good read.
