Steel balls
This is an odd bible, yet I have found it to be both readable and durable. The cover has held up well since I purchased this back in 2007. A lot of that has to do with the fact that it has a sewn binding. As with any text, the font used and its size may be good for one person, not so good for another. It's fine for me. After many years of use, it still opens up flat on almost every page. It has a helpful, though very concise, concordance included. Would have appreciated a set of maps at the end.
Yellow Judge
There's a lot I like about this Bible; the cover is lovely, the NRSV is a great format (and this one carries an imprimatur, if that matters to you) and it has a solid binding, not to mention a bookmark.
It was larger than I expected. This was mainly my fault--I should have read the dimensions. I'll note, though, that the width from cover to cover is more like 1.25 inches instead of 0.8. It's not a major difference, but it does take up more room than I expected. You can't really stuff it in your pocket unless you're wearing really baggy cargo pants. Then again, it should fit comfortably in any bag you happen to be carrying.

The text is quite small, which I, being nearsighted, don't have a problem with. The pages are understandably thin (it's hard otherwise to fit 1472 pages of text + the covers into 1.2 inches!), so some of the text on the next page shows through. It's not that distracting, and you shouldn't have a problem with it.
The spine is quite elegant (it's a book that will look great in your bookcase), but I'm not a huge fan of the silver coating on the pages. I figure it will wear out over time, and whether or not it's the cause, the tips of the pages tend to stick together.

Overall, this will make a great Bible for casual reading or group study.
greed style
This Bible is just the right size for carrying about and while the paper is a bit thin, I haven't found it difficult to read. The print is rather small, but I can't say you'll need glasses to read it since without mine I can't see at all! If your vision is 20/20 (mine is with glasses on) you shouldn't have much trouble reading it, but of course every person is different. The text is the Anglicized version, which shouldn't cause any real difficulties for American readers, as the differences in usage are minimal. The Anglicized version of the NRSV is easily found in etext format online. Just Google it. I find this a marvelous Bible, well crafted and seemingly very durable. A+ on looks too!
Levion
I selected the NSRV after extensive study of Bible translations. I believe the NSRV is the most scholarly edition available and contains the best translation of the oldest texts available. I am not Catholic but I love the Apocryphal books of this Catholic edition and consider them part of a complete Bible. (This Bible is authorized by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops in the USA.) The language of the text is elegant and this is the most readable Bible I have ever known. The long and narrow design make it easy to handle and very compact to carry. The cover is attractive and I especially appreciate that it is vegetarian. There are no scripture cross-references in the text but the small concordance has already been helpful.
