First I must correct the Amazon description of this work. IT IS A COMPLETE HEBREW ENGLISH AND GREEK ENGLISH SET. Not just Hebrew English. So it covers ALL books of the KJV bible.
As close as one can get without being a scholar in Hebrew and Greek to the original manuscripts. So easy to use for the biblical student.
I also have the single volume book and this is much easier to use.

This by far is the best Bible I have ever picked up. It has so much more information about the original Bible, and when I have looked at other versions of Hebrew Bibles, they leave out, or change what was written. This Bible has so much more than the King James version as I see where KJV changed the meaning of situations which sometimes which is not that important, but I still do not see why things should be changed at all. Genesis is written like the original Bible and Mr. Green used the exact words and did not change it. I cannot wait to get all the way through and start back over. I can say that I love this Bible and it is so easy to read. I highly recommend it to anyone that just wants to sit down and read the Bible all the way through as it is plainly wrote. The KJV can be difficult for some people to understand, and "The Interlinear Bible" is so clear, that it leaves you without any doubt what is meant. Such a wonderful Bible it is.

I purchased this set after much long thought to aid in my study of the scriptures. Like most, I chose this set as it is one of the only interlinears currently on the market. I can appreciate the time and effort that Mr. Green put into assembling these volumes, but I fear that his time was mostly wasted. The quality of paper and binding are everything I would expect from Hendrickson, but the content of the book is completely lacking. Specifically, the Hebrew printing is of very poor quality. The vowel points are quite faded and differ in quality from word to word as if they were pressed on the page rather than printed. In many cases, the quality is so poor that the vowels are unrecognizable and at times completely missing. While the consonants themselves are printed well and show good contrast, it appears that the Hebrew text is a facsimile. For the price of this set, and with the ready availability of proper Hebrew fonts, I would have expected this to be properly printed. From the copyright page, it appears that the last edition produced by Mr. Green was printed in 1985. However, this current edition produced by Hendrickson is in its sixth printing and was released in January 2014--certainly allowing enough time to format a proper reprinting.

Pros:

The size of the volumes lends well to study.
Print is moderately sized.
The layout is very friendly for comparing the original text to the literal translation.
The text is keyed to Strong's numbers which allows for easy transition between references.

Cons:

The text contains some errors which have remained through multiple reprintings (as mentioned by others).
The quality of the Hebrew text makes it unreliable for those who rely on vowel pointing. (Since vowel points did not exist in the original, the integrity of the scriptures remains unaffected.)

This set is a must for any serious student of the Bible.
I use it nearly every day to get a clearer more precise understanding of The Word.
The feature that sets this set above other like sets is that places the Strong's Numbers over every word which help on look at the Hebrew deeper than Green translates it.
I use the Blue Letter Bible online to do the query's of the Hebrew Word and it is amazingly revealing.

I was excited to expand my library with this valuable resource, however within the first two lines in Genesis there are errors - missing Strong's numbers and incorrect Strong's numbers. Within the first two lines... very discouraging. I'm so thankful there are men and women who have commited to investing hours into providing valuable resources for Bible study - and I eagerly await a revised version (in printed form) where many of these mistakes are corrected! Until then I have found the following online tools to be very valuable and accurate resources:

Bible Hub: [...](Hebrew and Greek words)
Study Light:[...] (Hebrew and Greek words)
LXX:[...] (tracing Greek words back to Hebrew)
Bible Study Tools:[...] (good for finding a phrase in scripture)

Along with these online resources, Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament (Vol. 1 & 2) is a valuable print resource.

Over all, I like the format and the flow of reading word for word in the order written, as well as reading it rearranged in todays modern style, still word for word, on the left side of the page. I use the Strong's numbers often to research individual words and their meanings. The only down fall, is that I have found a couple of typo errors with the Strong's numbers. All in all, I would definately recomend this set.

I like the Interlinear and it had good reviews so I bought it. I don't know Hebrew or Greek but the English does have periodic misspellings through out the intro and in the literal English translation. I hope they are only mistakes in the English and not in the other languages or I may be teaching myself incorrect Hebrew and Greek. The intro written by Jay Patrick is very against non Receptus manuscripts but acknowledges that the KJV does have some mistakes
Have had the one volume version for year and the print just got to small to read. Love the larger print, however I wish someone would have reproof-read and fixed the Strongs numbers errors that are found throughout the book. All in all it is a very good Interlinear Bible.
