In this book, kids have the chance to get up close to these fascinating creatures to discover how they play, hunt, and live together as a family. Readers will also discover the challenges wolves face in the wild. This series offers insight into the field of animal study and observation, presents the latest science discoveries, and relates firsthand experiences in the field. It's a great way to bring kids face to face with wolves-out of the zoo, out.

Professional nature photographer Jim Brandenburg and his wife, Judy, have spent years living among the wolves of North America, studying and photographing them in their natural habitat. Their beautiful work is featured here alongside stories of their personal experiences with wolves.

I was very disappointed in this book. For the price, I think is was high and it didn't have very many pages.
I believe it was geared mostly to children.

I really enjoyed reading this short book. I would recommend this to anyone interested in learning more about wildlife. Believe it would be good for children that have shown interest in animals in the wild.

A must have on Wolf information if you are looking for a book to learn about them or the different kinds of Wolfs this would be the book I recommend to have. It is easy to read and takes the time to give you information the average book would not. This is a great resource book for the High School or College level for reference and has a lot of other references in the book to use. Excellent read and enjoyable.

The photography in this book is amazing! We used this book in my class with our reading unit and the second graders were highly impressed with the photos as well as the information they learned. Highly recommend! It is definitely above second grade reading level, but I had a high achieving class and they really enjoyed it.

This is a beautiful book, with big, bold pics of wolves.
Its a paperback book, but alot thinner than I thought it would be.
I probably didn't read all the details about how many pages it contains.
But, my nephew loves wolves, and I know he will like this book.
Just don't buy this book, as a "big" present.
Great gift or coffee table book
