I sometimes want to cry but end up laughing. My daughter at one time fell down our basement steps and I laughed but felt so terrible about it and learned later that this is an emotional response. Another horrible thing was in middle of winter and both of my daughters had stuck their tongues on our step railings and got stuck. At first glance I laughed until I peed my pants but at the same time felt awful.
