I liked this book because it always kept me in suspence. It made me want to keep reading because I always wanted to know what would happen next. It is fairly easy to read and not very long, which made me like it more. The plot is a mystery about a person named Janosik being framed. The Hardy boys try and figure how and who is framing Janosik, with some help and sometimes confusion from a mysterious person claiming to be their long lost brother. One thing that could have made this book more enjoyable for me is if I had read the previous Hardy Boys books in the series. Since it is book #22, it made it difficult to know who many of the main charactres were because I was just being introduced to them. I think this was a great mystery book overall.

I loved this book. Frank and Joe are torn between believing Chris Hardy, who says he's their brother, and wondering if he is innocent. They have to question the intentions of their parents and wonder could they have really given up their eldest child. It is one of the best casefiles that I have read.
