We love all the research guides for MTH. They are written at a higher Lexile level than the stories but it makes them fun to read together. My 6 year old doesn't have the patience to read through a research guide the entire way through on her own but together it makes for a fun project...she gets to tell me about what happened in the story to Jack & Annie and together we learn some fun facts about whatever time/place the story was about.

My seven year old grandson loves these Magic Tree House books. Since he lives many hours away, he looks forward to the 'book' packages from 'Grandma'.

Awesome series for my 4 1/2 year old son. We love the stories, but I especially love the research guides that go along with the stories. I love seeing my son so interested in learning!

My son likes Magic Tree House books but is a bigger fan of non-fiction books (might be a boy thing). I bought him a matching set so he is enjoying the best of both worlds!
