I was disappointed in this book. The investigations were not as relevant as I need them to be for a deep understanding of science concepts.

This book has so many projects and ideas that I have already tried. The illustrations and the directions are simple and yet thorough. This book does a good job exposing children to science vocabulary.

Once again I have the privilege to introduce you to another fantastic resource for Elementary Science. Explore Life Cycles has six fantastic chapters:

1. Introduction

2. An Endless Cycle

3. Does It Have A Face?

4. Here Comes Baby

5. Grow, Baby, Grow

6. The Cycle Continues

7. Threats To Life Cycle

The illustrations within the book are fantastic, and I think my children loved them more than anything. At only 4.5 and 2.5 years of age, this book is a little above them in a lot of ways. However, I was able to modify a couple of the activities (there a some in each chapter) including Life Cycle Viewing Strips, Make Your Own See Through Egg, and Make Your Own Oil Spill Experiment.

This is an absolutely fantastic resource that will highly supplement any Elementary Science and Home School Curriculum.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
