Wonderful fun book to read with your kids that emphasizes how all of us on planet earth are connected and also stresses love of parent for child. Fun and funny. My kids loved it when they were little & I just bought a new copy for a baby gift.

I discovered this book after hearing a story on NPR several years ago. At the time, I purchased it for the daughter of a friend, and it was very well-received. I then purchased it again for my niece's 3rd birthday. Again, it was very well-received. Now, I have a son of my own and got this book for his 2nd birthday. He has always been interested in animals of all kinds, so it's a perfect fit for him. The illustrations are wonderful and the text provides a great appreciation for all creatures great and small, as well as representing the bond of love between a parent and child.

The book is very colorful and is of good size for lap-top of bedside reading. Note that the pages are standard paper, so I would only get this for a toddler if you take part in supervised reading with a child who isn't prone to tearing up books on a regular basis.

I highly recommend this title for it's wonderful message and beautiful color illustrations.

I'm so glad this is available in paperback! I'm giving it to every small child I know. We've had this book since my older child was three (eight years!); it's still one of his little brother's favorites, and I'm still not sick of it. Excellent, funny pictures and rhymes, with a positive outlook and a bit of a "get outside and play" message without any preachiness.

My all-time favorite kids' book! I give this as a gift all the time!

This wonderful book is tough to find in our local bookstores, but luckily we've been able to order many through Amazon to give as gifts. AND HERE'S TO YOU is filled with beautiful full-page pictures that our 8-month old daughter loves to look at and touch. The story is about appreciating all that is around us, the birds, the dogs, the bugs and ourselves! I highly recommend this book for your child and as gifts for all kids you know.
