com User, May 14, 2005. I come to this as a big fan of Leslie Patricelli's first three books. The reader is treated to more hilarious illustrations which are accompanied by a really sweet story about attachment to a blankie

com User, May 14, 2005. I am 29 years old and I still sleep with my blankie. This book is great - it captures all the emotions I remember from growing up with a blankie that never left my side. If your baby has a blanky or if you used to (or you still do), read this book. The reader is treated to more hilarious illustrations which are accompanied by a really sweet story about attachment to a blankie. I read this to my 7 mth old and look forward to more from this author.

Lily is pretty lucky. Read books for free from anywhere and from any device. She made a friend on the first day at her new school-even after she barfed on the playground-and now she and Darby are the only two members of the RizzleRunk Club. Listen to books in audio format instead of reading.

Leslie Patricelli books are my son's absolute favorite. He loves the baby illustrations. The length is perfect because he doesn't have a long attention span at 12-18 months. He will bring one or two, and we can sit and read them. He will turn to his favorite pages and point so that I will read them again.

I also like that there are a few big words in lower case on each page. Pointing at the words while reading can help kids develop early literacy skills by recognizing that words can be paired with sounds, and that different words have different shapes.

If you like this one, make sure to check out her other books. "Binky" is another favorite!!

Our son doesn't carry his around everywhere like this little guy does, so we reinforce that he doesn't need his blankie to go everywhere with him like this one. We tell him he's a big boy because he knows the blankie can stay home. It's great for telling your child it's okay to have a safety blanket, and it's a great teaching tool when your child is getting a bit older. Would recommend it for anyone who has a child in their life that uses a special blanket. Really special book and can't say enough good things about Leslie P. She's an amazing children's author!!!

We have "Potty" and "Tubby" by the same author, so thought that this would help build the trio of must-read Patricelli...but I guess I was wrong. My toddler doesn't agree that she and her Blankie "don't need to play with anyone" so that illustration gets a "NO!" from her, as well as the part where the baby in the story is afraid of the dark. She also doesn't understand why the baby is crying when it's time to sleep and his mommy is bringing him and blankie upstairs (we do the same here). The illustrations are fine, pretty cute, but my toddler can't really relate, I guess...and she's not exactly an angel....

We have 2 other Leslie Patricelli books and this new addition does not disappoint. My daughter loves the simple illustrations and the cute and funny story line. We're satisfied.

Baby loves the graphics and message, lots of good content. L.P. are some of the best. They're built pretty sturdy and lasts awhile.

Our toddler doesn’t have an issue with her blanking, but we have all her other books and love them. The illersatrations are adorable and a good read for a toddler. Would recommend!

Leslie Patricelli books are my child favorite. The board books hold up well to the abuse of a toddler. He loves the colors and how the babies does the same things he does.
We have most of the Leslie Patricelli board book. They are simple and have been the first books we've read to our babies. They are simple a short enough to maintain their interest. The illustrations are well done. My kids look forward to the light of "other" things at the end of each book and we point to each one while they say them. They are board books, so are very durable and have last through multiple children.
