This is a charming collection that has delighted children for almost 4 decades. The large colorful illustrations spur the imagination. It is a large collection including many of the best fairy tales - hard to find all together. Too bad it's out of print. I had to search to find a copy for my twin nephews. My copy was borrowed years ago and never returned.

This book is a regular collection of well-known fairy tales. I found most pictures repulsive - mean, ugly faces, something that doesn't belong in a child's book at all. There's much better artwork out there.
