My assistant is from Boston. One morning during morning calendar he said to my class “did you know there were 12 presidents before George Washington?” No we did not because that is not true. Turns out he meant the continental congress, but to help him out we purchased this book. He loves it. He says it has a lot of great information. It came with a free poster of the presidents which I was not expecting. It cuts off at Obama, which is where I like to think we stopped having presidents as well.
My students LOVE this book. I teach young adults from other countries who want to learn about the government/history of their new home. This book is a hit because it provides an overview and is easy to understand. The pictures are great.
Love this book! I ordered it for a 12 year old friend's son who she said wanted a book on Presidents. He sent me a thank you card which said "Thank you for this wonderful book about presidents, "I especially love the disk that was provided with the book and it gave me places to visit and learn more about presidents."
Is the most actual and informative presidents of the United States that is published. It come with a brief and the most important details of the work of the presidents during their office's years of service. But the CD only come with few things of what was made during their service and not videos of their achievements and events during their presidential years.
I read this to our 8-year-old. It's too advanced for her to read on her own, you'd have to be at least 12, but it's a good quantity of information and she enjoys having it read to her.
Arrived promptly. Thank you. My son loves the book.
Ok book on the presidents, from Washington to Obama. Geared more for kids than adults. Still a great primer for those that want to know about the American leaders. Recommended.
My grandson has read the biographies of several of the presidents. He has found reading and learning about each one to be a favorite thing to do when he has finished his day's course study.
