My daughter used this for a reading project in second grade. She loved reading about the history of the Hershey Company. It was very informative and interesting for both she and I. We both learned a lot.

While the book is full of good information, the format is definitely for children 13 years and under. Definitely a good book for any elementary school.

I checked this out of the library today and buddy read it with my 7-year-old grandson after a morning trip to Chocolate World in Hershey.

The book is well-written, with fascinating details on Hershey's road to success and the town he built. I had no idea he had failed that many times before becoming such a successful chocolate maker. I'm motivated now to take my grandson back to Hershey to see the Hershey Museum as well as just Chocolate World. And we have a new favorite word this week -- "Confectionery". You know, the fancy-pants way to say "candy".

I read and finished this book in a day . Liked it though. Makes me want to go to Hershey P.A. But I don't know if Mr.Hershey was an inventor.Still good.
