Dosde's books on Picasso allow us to get to know the life and work of this unavoidable reference of modern painting, whose revolutionary artistic ideas have influenced generations of artists. Their pages allow the reader to follow the fascinating career of a painter in constant evolution, the creator of works such as Les Demoiselles d'Avignon and Guernica, which over time have converted into authentic icons of the twentieth century. The biographies dedicated to Picasso show the interest that the painter aroused apart from his artistic achievements.

Richly illustrated, the book charts Picasso’s progression from competent representational painter, through his Blue Period, Cubism and the establishment of his own distinctive Modern Art style with the painting, in 1907, of five women in a brothel – Les Demoiselles dAvignon.
