Ancient Egypt Art History. From the earliest times Egyptian art was developed in the service of the king. The earliest work of art that we can give a date to is the Palette of Narmer, who was the first king of the first dynasty, about 3000 . Ancient Egyptian art was first created to show that the king was a god. The art-forms were first of all worked out by the master craftsmen in the Pharaoh’s court. Their ideas and fashions were then followed carefully by lesser craftsmen who worked for ordinary Egyptians. This palette shows Narmer’s victories. It is carved with ‘reliefs’ which means that the artist has carved away the slate background to make the pictures stand out.

The Carnatic track is basically in line with Bhaklti or Spirituality as you call. Saint Thyagarajar, Muthusamy Deekshitar etc fullyyt committed themselves in the direction of Bhakti and created lots of songs in various Ragas. so some distance as Southern area of India is worried the place the Carnatic track is the backside you will see that basically Bhakti or Devotion is the greater advantageous source. because of the fact of this the carnatic track isn't.

The Room devoted to the art of Ancient Egypt displays about 800 exhibits representing all the periods in the development of the Land of the Pharaohs – from the IV millennium BC to the 4th century BC. They include wooden and stone coffins, statues, reliefs, objects for household use and the funerary rite, mummies of both people and animals, papyri, vessels and jewellery, statues of deities and amulets. The most ancient exhibits in the Egyptian collection of the State Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts are stone tools (c. VI-V millennia BC) and also slate palettes and clay painted vessels from the culture of Naqada I-III (IV millennium BC).
