Our grandson has loved this book for years, and it is usually requested at least one time a week to be read at bedtime. From age 2 to now, age 7, he loves the pictures, and the information. Yes, it is simple, and yes, it is a bit outdated, but still it is informative. After reading about the toaster, as well as the dishwasher and the vacuum, he and I go looking at the appliances to see the real thing, as well as new advancements.
