This book is cute, and features several different farm animals. It's a little confusing for a toddler who is learning animal sounds, as some of the animals "trick" Spot by making another animal's sound before you lift the flap and see who's actually hiding. Hopefully that makes sense

Our son LOVES the spot books and he loves what’s hidden under the lift up flaps on each page! They’re very cute and perfect for little curious minds! I’d highly recommend these books!

Great book for my granddaughter

We have a couple of the Spot books which my toddler daughter likes well enough, however they don't hold her attention particularly. And as the person reading them, I find they don't stand up to repeated readings as well as many of her other books. (I am thinking of the series by Sandra Boynton, which seem to fare better.)

We have a big Spot afficianado in our house but this one missed the mark a bit from his parents' perspective. The story line about Spot asking and receiving lots of toys, falling out of a boat, and disturbing a hippo who repeatedly responds impolitely all create a tone that we'd rather not repeat six times a day with our little one (that's how often he asks to read it). All of these are small grievances, but we reach for a different Spot book when we can.

This book is cute, funny, and just shows Spot being Spot. We have many Spot books, and this one fits right in. My 2 year-old daughter enjoyed it a lot, especially lifting the flaps. Thanks!

If your little one loves lifting the flaps like mine does, then this is for you! The flaps are pretty sturdy and conceal little treasures for your infant/toddler to lift. The squeals that greet each opened flap makes these lift the flap books a worthy splurge!

I understand this was used, but I read the description about the wear and tear (like Spot goes to the Farm) and I dont recall anything about the flaps being missing. We counted three flaps gone before my kid just tossed it aside. The flaps are the whole point of these Spot books, that is why I read the description to make sure it said nothing about missing flaps (like The Farm, and they were all there). I wish there was a way to give less then one star :(
This is a great book for little children. The text is simple and the flaps provide answers to questions in the story. The board book format is easy for children to use without the worry of ripped pages. The size is appropriate for pudgy little hands.
