Very basic, nothing particularly engaging about the text or illustrations. Disappointed with this book.
These cat books are some of my son's favorites - we have two cats so always like to buy him cat themed toys and books. I found the Halloween Cats one first at a used store and didn't realize there were others until I saw these. The Christmas Cats book is so cute and perfect for the holiday. My son likes rhyming books and this is also the perfect length for a younger child - a lot of Christmas books are a little long for him at this age.

There's not really that much to this book, it's pretty simple, but the illustrations are cute and the cats do Christmassy things like wrap presents and hang mistletoe, so there's a lot to look at and talk about with young children.(For instance, when they hang the mistletoe, two mice underneath it are kissing, so you can talk about that tradition.) Cute little book.
