This little book serves its purpose as a first coloring book for my 18 month old. Obviously, she has no interest in what she is coloring, but gives her something to work toward without being too detailed or complicated. The animals are cute, the paper is thick enough to hold up, and rough enough to take the color easily.

This book is very small for a coloring book; about the size of a post card. That's not such a huge deal (handy for bringing to restaurants to keep kids occupied). The big issue with this book is that the art completely failed to interest my three-year-old. The drawings are not very good, and there are no backgrounds or borders or scenery in the pictures so each one takes about 30 seconds to color. Just poorly drawn animals floating in the middle of a white page.

This is a great little coloring book. I read some of the negative reviews that complained about the size. Well, if you take the time to read the product details, you will see that the size is clearly stated - 5.7 x 4.2 x 0.2 inches. Others didn't like the art. Most of these coloring books have the "look inside" feature, so you can see what you are getting before you buy. I like the fact that they aren't the hottest licensed characters, but ordinary creatures and items that are easy for toddlers to recognize and color. These are perfect for my grandkids and are easy to take along because they are small. I would say that some of these books are far too simple for a 7 or 8 year old, and some are too detailed for younger kids. The key is to pay attention to what you are purchasing!

I wish I would have read the description a little better since this is not regular size coloring book. It's tiny. My fault for assuming it would be standard size. Would have been helpful to have been titled MINI coloring book or TRAVEL SIZE. The pages are a little better quality than most coloring books though. The book was bent a bit upon arrival but my toddler won't care.

I bought several of these about two years ago for my then 3 1/2 year old to doodle and play with on the rode when traveling. It is the perfect size. In fact, if buyers are familiar with a certain eatery on the road/interstate that has a country store you might recognize these little puzzle books; they are the same sold there. And the price is the same. Good deal.

My daughter loves these books and they are a great way to pass the time on a long drive. She will put her crayons in her cup holder and work her way through the book for a good hour or so. For some reason, she just likes these better than standard sized coloring books. A bit pricey for the size, but worth it for the contentment of my 5 year old.

I would not buy this again. It is not a good bargain for the money. It is very tiny and just not worth it. I would have been better off buying full size coloring books from the Dollar Tree or a Dollar Store.

These are small and perfect size for travel bags. Keeps thekids occupied without having an electronic device in front of them.
This was bought as a gift for a child. He seemed excited when he opened it.
