Excellent reference of the breeds. Nice photos and descriptions. Not a large book so nice to have close by.

this book is nice but VERY small. at 4x6, it's the size of a standard photograph. It is thick (204) pages, but not what I expected. My daughter (she is 7) is obsessed with horses and loves it, I'm glad I was able to buy a used copy for a little over $3. here on Amazon.

The book is very nicely put together but I had expected it to be larger than it actually was. To look at it possitively: you can carry it in your jacket pocket or purse. The content is good.

my daughter love to read this book.

Good book, but only offers brief descriptions of the breeds---but that is what I expected in a small "pocket sized" book. I like it.

These horses remind me of the ones we saw some years ago when we got up early one morning, checked out of
our room at Williamsburg and then drove to the shore.
Those particular horses are amazing and one can see why they have such strong muscles.

although the pictures are beautiful, I expected a fullsize book not a pocket book! i wouldn't feel comfortable giving this as a gift
The cover of the book says 96 at a glance profiles, but there are 204 pages, and more than 96 profiles. This is a interesting little book printed on high quality paper with a lot on information for each breed , very easily understood, and read, with some very beautiful horses and pictures, also, very informative.
