Marian J Cocke was a true friend to Elvis Presley and it's evident in her book. She asked for nothing from him but his friendship. I received this book from my mother and read it the same day. I just couldn't put it down. I heard Marian speak at the 30th Anniversary Memorial service for Elvis that George Klein hosted at Memphis State University.

Good book, easy reading, she was very loyal to Elvis. She didn't mention his drug addiction to prescription drugs, she just wanted to bring out the good and not the bad. Too many books being written by too many people who claim they knew him, who just want to make a few bucks, this book is the exception.

I think I must now own every book written on Elvis. This one was a disappointment.

I always enjoy learning from people who actually were part of Elvis's life. Loved the book. Had a tough time putting it down. Easy read. Thank you Marian for writing this book. It made me love Elvis even more.

This book is NOT for the intellectuals out there, but it IS for folks who are interested in a beautiful story about 2 friends. It was refreshing to read this book and it touched my heart deeply. Mrs. Cocke has continued to honor her dear friend Elvis with her annual dinner during Elvis week in August and she is truly a sweet person. I would love to meet her someday! I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves Elvis and who is interested in his final years.

I so loved the stories in this book! It was wonderful to her from someone that just took care of Elvis! I still cried at the end.
Love this!
