The compositions of American composer Charles Ives (1874–1954) are mostly modern classical music. Documenting his list of works is especially difficult, because he had a tendency not to date his works, or misdate them for some unknown reason. Additionally, he was very prolific, revised works multiple times, and left ambiguous fragments with no title or notes. This list follows James B. Sinclair's A Descriptive Catalogue of the Music of Charles Ives. It does not include fragments or projected works.

The Charles Ives Society is sad to report the passing on July 4th of Senior Vice-President Vivian Perlis (1928-2019). Vivian founded the Oral History of American Music at Yale University and is the author of the seminal book Charles Ives Remembered. We remember her enthusiasm and tenacity with admiration. May her work be long celebrated and her memory a blessing.
