This book has been my major source, along with Court opinions, for teaching high school Constitutional Law for years. My students are then able to understand and "argue" Supreme Court cases in mock hearings with better understanding and a deeper appreciation of the Court and our judiciary. As Mr. Domino states, the Court may be the least suitable of all our institutions to answer critical societal questions, yet this is the role that has been assigned to it. Mr. Domino's book is an excellent read for those who want to understand the Court's role in weaving our social fabric and how it decides the controversies that come before it.
